World Book Day is celebrated at Scoil Ruáin
Scoil Ruáin celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 12th March. First Years took part in a Readathon, Second Years enjoyed a Book Quiz and Third Years enjoyed a “Blind Date with a Book”. Transition Years spent a few weeks decorating many of the classroom doors with different book themes including Dr. Seuss The Cat in the Hat, Dracula, Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory and A Brief History of Time to mention a few. A big thank you to all teachers in the English Department for organising the activities and to the students who participated in the events of the day. A great time was had by all.
