Scoil RuáinKillenaule                                   1-11

Hazelwood College, Dromcollogher           2-06

Played in Ballylanders on Friday of last week in horrific wet conditions it was Hazelwood College that started brightly scoring five unanswered points from frees. Scoil Ruain , playing against a strong wind in the first half, manged to pull the score back to five points to three at half time. The second half started well for Scoil Ruain as they scored three well worked points leaving the scores at six points apiece. Hazelwood College then went on to get two goals in quick succession which put them ahead by six points with less than twenty minutes remaining. A goal from Conor Murphy as well as numerous pointed frees from Dylan Webster and some crucial points from Josh Rowan ensured that Scoil Ruáin emerged victorious with a score line of 1-11 to 2-06. Great heart and spirit were shown by all players on the Scoil Ruain team to come back from being six points down in the second half. They now progress to a Munster Semi-Final against the winners of Presentation Brothers Mardyke and Coláiste an Phiarsaigh on Friday, October 26th.
