Congratulations to Anna Chirubvu who won a Special Merit Award at teh 67th Texaco Children’s Art Competition 2021
Anna is seen above pictured with Mr. Cian Corcoran her Art Teacher. Anna is holding her Certificate from Texaco for her Special Merit Award in Category G with her sketch entitled “New Life in a Pandemic”. Anna sketched a portrait of her new born cousin Tarin who was a few weeks old at the time.
Anna is pictured here visiting the Highlanes Art Gallery in Drogeda, Co. Louth where she visited her own winning sketch. The exhibition consists of all the 126 award winners and ran from 14th September to 2nd October 2021

A big congratulations to Anna Chirubvu a 5th year student who has won a Special Merit Award in the 67th Texaco Children’s Art Competition with an entry entitled “New Life in a Pandemic”. With many thousands of entries received this year Anna’s achievement is particularly notable. Anna’s artwork will form part of an exhibition of all of this year’s winning entries. This exhibition will be held at the Highlanes Gallery in Drogheda, Co. Louth from 14th September to 2nd October. Admission is free and further information is available at www.highlanes.ie.
